FRESHER’S DAY PARTY 2024-25

Dr. S. Rajeshwar Rao, Principal, Government Medical College, Khammam organize fresher’s Day Party.  The main aim of this party is to give an affectionate welcome to new students. Such parties instill confidence in students and enhance their creativity.  It is accompanied by so many exciting events and programs like ramp walk, traditional, fusion, and modern dances, breathtaking singing performances, and splendid decoration, thus making it a soulful experience.

VANAMAHOTSAVAM-2024

‘Vanamahotsavam-2024’ by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation aims at plantation of close to 30.82 lakh saplings across various localities of which a little over five lakh or about 16% will be for distribution by the Director of Muncipal Administration Sri. V P Gowtham IAS, District Collector and Magistrate Sri. Muzammil Khan I.A.S and Muncipal Commissioner, Khammam Sri. Abhishak Agasthya IAS and Dr. S. Rajeshwar Rao, MD, Principal, GMC Khammam was participated in plantation in Government Medical College, Khammam

WORLD BREAST FEEDING WEEK 2024

World Breastfeeding Week is held in the first week of August every year, supported by WHO, UNICEF and many Ministries of Health and civil society partners. The theme for 2024 is Closing the gap: Breastfeeding support for all.  The campaign will celebrate breastfeeding mums in all their diversity, throughout their breastfeeding journeys, while showcasing the ways families, societies, communities and health workers can have the back of every breastfeeding mum.

The Programme conducted by the District Medical and Health Officer Dr. B. Malathi, and chief guest Dr. S. Rajeshwar Rao, M.D., Principal, Government Medical College, Khammmam and Dr. L. Kiran Kumar M.S, Medical Superintendent, Government General Hospital, Khammam.
